The next camp will be the Aviation camp in September of 2024 held at the Commemorative Air Force Hanger, 5661 Mariner Dr, Dallas.
Followed by the Basic Camp on November 2nd, 2024, at 5310 Red Bird center Dr, Dallas
The Dallas Junior Police Academy is an opportunity for students to see how the Dallas Police Department operates and to observe some of the more exciting aspects of police work. Life skills are stressed throughout each session. Each student is challenged to make good choices that will last a lifetime.
The students have hands-on time with many of the different units from the Dallas Police Department including SWAT, K-9, Motorcycle, and Helicopter. Students get to ride in a squad car, learn about evidence processing (CSI), process their own fingerprints, and participate in physical training. Additionally, our advanced class learns about the internet and physical safety, they tour 911 / Communications Division and Crime Scene Investigations (CIS).
